At-Tîn

وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ١

By the fig and by the olive!

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ٢

And by (Mount) Tur of Sinai!

وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ ٣

And by this city of peace (Mecca)!

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ٤

Indeed, We have created man in the best constitution (equipoised in the finest proportion).

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ ٥

Then We returned him to the lowest state of the low,

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ٦

Except for those who believe and do good works. For them is an unending (i.e., everlasting) reward.

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ ٧

Then who denies you after this regarding the Din (Religion or the Last Hour and reward and punishment)?

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ ٨

Is Allah not the Greatest of all the rulers?
