ثُمَّ يَتُوبُ اللَّهُ مِن بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ٢٧

Then even after this, Allah accepts repentance of the one He wills (i.e., He blesses him with an aptness for Islam and His Merciful Eye). And Allah is Most Forgiving, Ever-Merciful. (9:27)
