مَّا أَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللَّهِ ۖ وَمَا أَصَابَكَ مِن سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِن نَّفْسِكَ ۚ وَأَرْسَلْنَاكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولًا ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا ٧٩

(O man! Train your self this way that) if some good fortune comes to you, (consider that) it is from Allah (do not attribute it to the excellence of your strategy). And when some misfortune befalls, you (believe that) it is from yourself (attribute it to the evil in your own self). And, (O Beloved,) We have sent you as a Messenger to the whole mankind, and Allah is Sufficient as a witness (to your Messengership). (4:79)
