وَاللَّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ ٦٥

And Allah pours down water from the sky, and by means of that brings the earth to life (i.e., makes it fertile and green) after it has become dead (i.e., barren and infertile). Surely, there is in it a sign for those who give ear (to advice). (16:65)
