وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِهِ إِنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلِهِ مُسْلِمِينَ ٥٣
Waitha yutla AAalayhim qaloo amanna bihi innahu alhaqqu min rabbina inna kunna min qablihi muslimeena

and, when it is recited to them, they say, ’We believe in it; surely it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed, even before’ it we had surrendered.’ (28:53)
