لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَآبَاؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ ٨٣
Laqad wuAAidna nahnu waabaona hatha min qablu in hatha illa asateeru alawwaleena

Surely, this is what we and our fathers have (also) been promised. These (sayings) are but the tales of the bygone people. (23:83)
