فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ ١١٠
Faittakhathtumoohum sikhriyyan hatta ansawkum thikree wakuntum minhum tadhakoona

“But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them.” (23:110)
