إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لِيَفْتَدُوا بِهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ٣٦

Assuredly, those who disbelieve, if they possess all (the riches and treasures) that exist in the earth, and even with it as much more, so that they may offer it as ransom (i.e., a recompense for their souls to redeem themselves) from the torment of the Day of Resurrection, (all that too) will not be accepted from them and there is a torturous punishment for them. (5:36)
