105:1

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ١

Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant ?

105:2

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ٢

Did He not bring their stratagem to naught,

105:3

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ٣

And send against them swarms of flying creatures,

105:4

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٤

Which pelted them with stones of baked clay,

105:5

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ ٥

And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle) ?
