105:1
أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ١
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with those who had elephants?
105:2
أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ٢
Did He not thwart their crafty designs?
105:3
وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ٣
And He sent on to them (ambient) swarms of birds,
105:4
تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ٤
Which pelted them with stone-hard slugs.
105:5
فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ ٥
Then (Allah made them perish) like chewed-up chaff.
