ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ ٩
Thumma sadaqnahumu alwaAAda faanjaynahum waman nashao waahlakna almusrifeena

then We made true the promise We gave them and We delivered them, and whomsoever We would; and We destroyed the prodigal. (21:9)
